Chainstack vs GetBlock: free plans and XRPL support

Chainstack and GetBlock are multichain RPC providers whose own network lists name the major EVM chains, Solana, the XRP Ledger, Stellar, TON, Sui and Aptos. Both start paid plans at $49 a month; the main differences are how the free plan is metered and which networks each names, including XRPL Testnet.

Pick Chainstack if…

You want a hosted XRP Ledger Testnet endpoint as well as Mainnet (Chainstack's network list names both; GetBlock's XRPL docs name Mainnet only), or you prefer one monthly allowance to a daily one.

Pick GetBlock if…

You also build on Algorand, NEAR or Stacks, which GetBlock's network list names and our Chainstack listing doesn't, or you want more access tokens and a higher rate limit on the cheapest paid plan.

Our verdicts

Chainstack

Shared and dedicated nodes with archive data and a free Developer plan. Its protocol list names the major EVM chains, Solana, the XRP Ledger and Stellar. Hedera is dedicated-node-by-request only, so we don't count it; no Algorand or Xahau. Its XRP Ledger nodes keep a window of recent ledgers, not full history. It also names Sui, Aptos and TON; NEAR isn't on its protocol list.

GetBlock

Shared and dedicated RPC nodes priced in compute units, with a free tier. One of the few providers that names the XRP Ledger (mainnet only), Stellar and Algorand alongside the major chains. No Hedera or Xahau. It also names Sui, Aptos, TON and NEAR.
