Etherscan runs two official hosted MCP servers: an authenticated one at mcp.etherscan.io with 21 tools, and a keyless one with 16 tools and separate rate limits. Tools cover balances, transactions, token transfers, contract source and ABI, logs, gas and address labels across all Etherscan API chains, selected by chainid. Setup is documented for Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Codex. Etherscan warns that other "Etherscan MCP" listings are unofficial.
